The city of Miami is home to many different golf courses. We have gone to great lengths to provide a diverse range of greens on this list so that everyone has the opportunity to find something that appeals to them. The city of Miami is home to several different golf courses, some of which are of the most outstanding grade and others of which are more suitable for novices.

On our mailing list, you’ll find both casual golfers and those that take their game to a higher level of competition. Some of them are private golf course, which are so exclusive that you need an invitation to sign up for membership. However, we have also included many public golf courses, so regardless of how often you play the game, you will be able to locate the appropriate range in the following list.

The Biltmore Hotel and Spa and Golf

1200 Anastasia Ave, Coral Gables, FL 33134

The 18-hole golf course at the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables was designed by Donald Ross in 1926 and had a par of 71. Both right and left doglegs are prevalent on this course, contributing to the difficulty and making it a good fit for the University of Miami women’s team, which competes in this course. The par-three 17th hole is known for its island green surrounded by water on three sides.

There are a few gaps in the backdrop where you can make out the imposing Biltmore Hotel, a participant in the Historic Hotels of America program. After you’ve finished your round, go just beyond the clubhouse to cool down in the most prominent hotel pool in the United States, situated right here on the premises.

The famous Donald Ross constructed the lushly planted Biltmore golf course. The 18-hole, 6,800-yard, par 71 course is infinitely playable no matter your skill level.

The 419 Bermuda grass fairways, 84 of the 85 original bunkers, and USGA-specified greens that have been re-grassed with Tif-Eagle Bermuda and restored to their original size provide players with the actual “movement” of the Ross design. The Biltmore Golf Course, which now has laser leveled tees and a back-tee distance of 7,112 yards, is one of the excellent links that unite the modern American game with its history.

The Soffer Golf Course at Turnberry Isle Miami

19999 West Country Club Blvd, Miami, FL 33180

Robert Trent Jones built two 18-hole championship courses at Turnberry Isle Country Club. In 2007, Sr. Ray Floyd revised the courses. Nonetheless, he kept the most significant features of the original design. The Soffer Course is the longer and more challenging two golf courses at Turnberry, measuring over 7,000 yards from the back tees.

The whole resort is barely 300 acres long. Therefore, Soffer is essentially narrow, with holes meandering alongside one other and divided by towering trees or mounding. The twisty circuit has numerous challenging doglegs, and the rolling topography provides a variety of elevation variations.

Water hazards are strategically positioned throughout the course, as are neatly cut bunkers. The ideal environment is the immaculate white beach, contrasting nicely with the lush fairways and luxuriant tropical flora.

    La Gorce Country Club

5685 Alton Rd, Miami Beach, FL 33139

The golf course at La Gorce is consistently regarded as one of the best in the area, and it is also among the most exclusive. The only way to become a member of this entire country club is to be invited there, but once you do, you’ll realize how far you’ve come in life.

The actual golf course is in the same excellent condition as you would expect it to be. Its position off Alton Road offers guests breathtaking views of Miami Beach’s skyline. In addition, its proximity to the beach ensures that you will feel refreshed thanks to the ocean breeze, even on the hottest days.

If you are a true enthusiast of the sport, the knowledge that you will be walking the same fairways as Ben Hogan and Sam Snead may motivate you. Tennis courts, a croquet green, and a fabulous clubhouse that provides benefits like complimentary breakfasts and snacks are just some of the other onsite facilities that guests may take advantage of while staying at this location.

    PGA National Resort

400 Avenue of the Champions, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33418

Five iconic golf courses will ensure that your golf holiday is one to remember. Perhaps you’ll begin by playing the Champion Course, developed by Jack Nicklaus and is home to the PGA TOUR’s Honda Classic.

Some players believe it’s better to reserve it until last when it comes to The Bear Trap, that renowned three-hole stretch. Some players think it’s better to book it until later. Nonetheless, there are four more good courses on the schedule. To begin, meet The Fazio, a reimagining of The Haig. Then play The Palmer, put your skills to the test on The Squire, and tee it up at The Estates.

    Crandon Golf Course

6700 Crandon Blvd, Key Biscayne, FL 33149

Crandon Golf is a par-72, 18-hole course held in multiple PGA tournaments. This well-maintained golf course contains mangroves, saltwater lakes, and breathtaking vistas of Biscayne Bay. Despite its attractiveness, it’s also a very inexpensive place for residents to hit a few balls.
